9 September 2020 - As its brand name suggests, Flucelvax Quad is a new quadrivalent influenza vaccine.

Flucelvax Quad was approved on 14 August 2020 for the prevention of influenza caused by Influenza Virus, Types A and B contained in the vaccine. 

The vaccine was entered in the Australian Registry of Therapeutic Goods on 1 September 2020.
