Tagrisso approved in the EU for patients with unresectable EGFR mutated lung cancer

23 December 2024 - Approval based on LAURA Phase 3 trial results which showed Tagrisso extended median progression-free survival to more than three years.

AstraZeneca’s Tagrisso (osimertinib) has been approved in the European Union for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced, unresectable non-small cell lung cancer whose tumours have epidermal growth factor receptor exon 19 deletions or exon 21 (L858R) substitution mutations and whose disease has not progressed during or following platinum-based chemoradiation therapy.
