14 April 2020 - A Taranaki man who has to raise funds to pay for life-saving drugs is worried the predicted downturn in the economy from the coronavirus pandemic will make it harder for people to donate.
Money raised in the past had been "miraculous", Karl Taylor, who has terminal lung cancer, said.
But PHARMAC's recent announcement it was easing restrictions on certain medicines in response to the coronavirus pandemic is cold comfort to Taylor, who isn't eligible for the drugs anyway.
