22 December 2023 - The PBS Expenditure and Prescriptions Report 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023 is now available.
Total PBS Government expense for the supply of medicines under Section 85 and Section 100 on an accrual accounting basis for the 2022-23 financial year was $17.0 billion (excluding revenue), compared with $14.7 billion for the previous year. This is an increase of 15.6%.
