Novartis receives positive CHMP opinion for Kymriah CAR-T cell therapy for adult patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma in Europe
25 March 2022 - CHMP opinion based on Phase 2 global ELARA trial demonstrating high response rates in heavily pretreated patients; 69% experienced a complete response, with an 86% overall response rate and a remarkable safety profile.
Novartis announced today that the CHMP of the EMA adopted a positive opinion recommending the European Commission to approve Kymriah (tisagenlecleucel), a CAR-T cell therapy, for the treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma after two or more lines of systemic therapy.
