1 October 2019 - The October 2019 issue of the New Zealand Pharmaceutical Schedule is now available and in effect.

There are two major new listings this month:

• Varenicline tartrate (Champix) - restriction change
• Adalimumab (Humira) - new indication

In true PHARMAC tradition, PHARMAC has listed a medicine (Champix) that was rejected by PTAC without a subsequent recommendation.
