28 September 2025 - From 1 October 2025, Australians affected by breast cancer and rare kidney disease will have access to more cheaper medicines on the PBS.

Capivasertib (Truqap) will be listed on the PBS for the first time for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer that cannot be removed by surgery, is hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
