10 February 2025 - Nektar Therapeutics today announced that the US FDA has granted fast track designation for rezpegaldesleukin for the treatment of adult and paediatric patients 12 years of age and older with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis whose disease is not adequately controlled with topical prescription therapies or when those therapies are not advisable. 

Rezpegaldesleukin is an investigational biologic therapy that targets the interleukin-2 receptor complex in the body in order to stimulate proliferation of inhibitory immune cells known as regulatory T cells.
