Imfinzi approved in the EU as first and only immunotherapy for limited-stage small cell lung cancer
17 March 2025 - Approval based on ADRIATIC Phase 3 trial results which showed a 27% reduction in the risk of death versus placebo
AstraZeneca’s Imfinzi (durvalumab) has been approved in the European Union as monotherapy for the treatment of adults with limited-stage small cell lung cancer whose disease has not progressed following platinum-based chemoradiation therapy.
