FDA approves durvalumab with chemotherapy for mismatch repair deficient primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer

14 June 2024 - Today, the FDA approved durvalumab (Imfinzi, AstraZeneca) with carboplatin plus paclitaxel followed by single-agent durvalumab for adult patients with primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer that is mismatch repair deficient.

Efficacy was evaluated in DUO-E, a randomised, multi-centre, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in patients with primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer.
