Drugs access review speeds help for Scots

3 February 2014 - Patients and doctors in Scotland are to have a greater say over which drugs for rare conditions and the terminally ill are approved by the NHS, the Health Secretary has announced. The move is part of an overhaul of access to medicines north of the Border and comes after complaints from charities and individuals that patients have been losing out.
