Day of celebration for Blair Vining as cancer petition handed to parliament
25 July 2019 - Opposition politicians have described Southland's Blair Vining as remarkable following his fight to get a National Cancer Agency established.
Although those National Party politicians have stopped short of saying they will instigate a National Cancer Agency if elected into Government.
Vining was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer in October. The cancer has now spread to his hip, pelvis, and spine.
