Callous PHARMAC has left too many people in the waiting room of death

2 June 2022 - Early on Wednesday, in Washington DC, our Prime Minister met with the US President, who lauded her for her generous and inclusive leadership style.

Later that day, in Wellington, after months of delay, Health Minister Andrew Little released the review into our drug-purchasing agency, PHARMAC. At the same time, all around Aotearoa, Kiwis were logging on to Givealittle, petitioning their doctors, and cashing up their assets to try to get access to life saving medicines, drugs numerous poorer countries provide as a matter of course. 

Our policies in this respect are neither kind nor generous.
