3 December 2018 - A partnership between north Queensland hospitals is bringing potentially life-saving cancer drug trials to rural patients.

In an Australian first, telehealth is being used to deliver a clinical drug trial for breast cancer.

The tele-trial model, which is set to be rolled out nationally, is considered a major breakthrough in bridging the health gap for rural and remote communities.
