Australian Cancer Atlas shows cancer burden across the country
25 September 2018 - Australians can now refer to a handy map to discover how cancer diagnosis and survival rates in their town or suburb compare to the rest of the country.
This year an estimated 138,000 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer.
But some people are more likely to be diagnosed or even die than others because of their lifestyle, behaviour and genetics.
Now a map shows where you live may also be a factor.
