3 December 2020 - Australia could approve a COVID-19 vaccine almost two months ahead of schedule, the head of the medical regulator says, after the UK on Wednesday became the first Western country to take such a step.

The Morrison government also confirmed people will have full access to their own vaccination records but other companies would not be able to access it, in order to protect people's privacy.
