Aussies save almost $100 million on medicines in just five months
5 June 2023 - Australians have saved almost $100 million in just five months, off nearly 9 million prescriptions, thanks to the Albanese Government’s cheaper medicines policy.
On 1 January, for the first time in the 75 year history of the PBS, the maximum co-payment was reduced to $30, down from $42.50.
